The annual “Cooler Days in the Corn Maze” Fall Festival at Vertuccio Farms is a must-attend event for fans of corn mazes. A pumpkin patch, mini-golf, a spider-web climb, pumpkin bowling, tube slides, a petting zoo, and a five-acre corn maze are all part of the month-long celebration on the 25-acre farm.
5. MacDonald’s Ranch Pumpkin Patch
The MacDonald’s Ranch pumpkin patch will be open from Saturday, October 1st to Sunday, October 30th. During this time, families can enjoy a variety of activities. Included in your admission are more than just the perfect carving or pie pumpkins for your fall-themed treats. Your day will also be filled with fun activities like a hay bale maze, lawn games, panning for gold, and a petting zoo.
The pumpkin patch is open Mondays and Wednesdays through Sundays throughout October, closed only on Tuesdays and Halloween.
6. Dia de Los Muertos
The Mesa Arts Center is once again collaborating with the community to stage a Dia de Los Muertos Festival. The annual festival includes performances, an altar competition, and other cultural and artistic events to commemorate Latin American culture and art connected with the Day of the Dead. It's a free event that will run from October 22nd through October 23rd this year.
7. Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest and Corn Maze
A trip to Dewey for the Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest and Corn Maze is well worth the hour and a half drive from Phoenix, especially considering all that 80 acres of farm-inspired fun has in store for your family. From corn mazes and pumpkin picking to rides, games, hayrides, grain train rides, live music, vendors—you name it.
The festival runs from September 26th to October 30th and is open seven days a week.
